Gisèle Bone: freelance artist whose work is based mainly in

1979  Gisèle Bone born in East Yorkshire


1995  studied Interior Design at college


1997  having undertaken extra study, enrols on Foundation course as prelude to Art + Design degree


1998  starts a BA Fine Art at Lincoln (traditional) and later transfers to University of Lincolnshire and Humberside in Hull.  During the course of this degree, Gisele has several student run exhibitions.  This second course is much broader-based than the first one and is less intent on direct tuition but is more realistic in terms of being an artist rather than pretending to be an artist.


2001 graduates with 2:1 (Hons) and declares to the tax man as self-employed 


2006 completes Primary Certificate in General Education, returning to being self-employed and putting to use the knowledge of the State Education system in England


2007 at present she is based in East Yorkshire and continuing her own professional practice as an artist.  Also, she is working with schools and pushing projects forward at arc (Hull's architecture centre) as their Education Assistant as well as running her own business, buttonartworks, providing art workshops for schools, other businesses and individuals.
